Lydia Au, Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Lydia is a heart-centered healer and a music-loving mother of two adventurous boys. After taking some time off to fully nurture the loves of her life, she came back to the workforce and discovered POCA. People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA)’s mission of increasing accessibility and availability of acupuncture treatments and in turn improving the health and lives of our community totally resonated with her.
Lydia received her BS in Health Science at Purdue University and studied Naturopathic Medicine at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. She graduated summa cum laude at South Baylo University with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2009.
Lydia has been working as a licensed acupuncturist since 2010 in various clinic settings and no other clinic has given her so much happiness and fulfillment. She’s extremely grateful to be a part of each patient’s healing journey and assisting their progress. She also specializes in cosmetic acupuncture and holistic facial rejuvenation at The Beauty Within. Outside the clinic, she loves spending time with her hubby, her Lego-master grade schooler and her dinosaur-loving kindergartener.
Dr. Jenny Euna Kim, Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Born and raised in Korea and China, Jenny E Kim, DAOM, L.Ac was naturally exposed to the benefits of Traditional Eastern Medicine. After moving to US to pursue B.S. in Biochemistry, she volunteered at various departments in hospitals to expand her knowledge in the healthcare system. Having seen some limitations of conventional medicine, she started studying Traditional Eastern Medicine and was fascinated by the in-depth understanding of holistic well-being in the field of medicine. She has been helping patients restore better quality of life which is free from crippling pain and anxiety through her practice in West Hollywood, CA and Chino Hills, CA. While transitioning into a mother of two, she has been studying at Emperor’s College to become a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has an emphasis in Women’s health and infertility.
She approaches each case with detailed process of Western and Eastern medical diagnosis to provide the most effective treatment options. She prioritizes to build an effective communication with each client and spends time in caring for each client’s needs. Her treatments focuses on maximizing the natural healing power within each individual so that the clients can live a wholesome and well-balanced life free from nagging symptoms that bring them down.
Kim Le-Nguyen, Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Kim was born in Vietnam but raised in Sunny California. She has years of business experience under her belt as a successful salon owner and operator in Minnesota. Due to her own battle with an autoimmune condition, she opened her eyes to holistic approach to medicine and decided to pursue a career in Chinese Medicine. She obtained her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University. During her time at South Baylo, she has received numerous awards for clinical and academic excellence.
Kim combines her expertise in Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and nutrition to help her patients reach their optimal state of well-being. She finds immeasurable pleasure in helping others and regularly volunteers in various community wellness events, health fairs, and outreach programs. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her hubby enjoying the sights of beautiful Southern California.
